What is the difference between "leader" and "change agent" on the application?

PTK Scholarships -

On the Action tab of the PTK Scholarship Application, there is a question that asks students to describe their leadership style, with two of the options in the drop-down sounding very similar. Here is how we distinguish a leader from a change agent:

A leader is someone who is skilled at leading groups of people but may not be on the front lines fighting for change to happen. A change agent is a person that can be thought of as a catalyst for change - one step beyond being just a leader. Not every leader is a change agent, but every change agent is a leader.

*It's important to note that this question in the application has no right or wrong answer; judges are simply interested in how each student describes their personal style of leadership at this current moment in their lives.*
