How much time is required to be a member?

Phi Theta Kappa membership is what you make of it. We encourage participation in chapter activities, but it is not required. As an active member, you are only required to maintain the standards established by your local chapter. Chapters cannot require participation in activities or withhold membership benefits (i.e. wearing graduation regalia, receiving letters of recommendations, etc.) based on lack of participation
