A student becomes a member when his/her membership application has been approved and membership fees have been paid. There are 2 ways you can accept membership:
- If you pay online, you become a member at the time of payment.
- However, if you pay your membership fee to your local chapter advisor/college, the date is determined on the time that they actually submit you for membership in our system. Therefore, please speak with them before you make your payment to get an accurate date on when they plan on submitting your information, so that it may not hinder you from meeting certain deadlines, i.e. Scholarships, etc.
